It was wonderful to join @dlovirginia this morning to talk about giving every student a fair shot at higher education, and protecting tenants along with voter rights. It’s great to see everyone unified and empowered to ensure the Latino community has the resources and support they need to thrive in Virginia. Thanks for having me! @vademlatinos

Proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with my brothers and sisters from @seiu_virginia, @ibew666, @careinactionus, @cwaunion, @aaupvirginia, @ucwvirginia, @afscme, and so many other unions to demand every worker be included in collective bargaining in Virginia. I was proud to start this fight 6 years ago and I am looking forward to passing collective bargaining in Virginia so every worker has the dignity of a good paying job and working conditions. #unionstrong

Proud to have voted for a bipartisan budget that invests in our families and our infrastructure. From raising the minimum wage, passing paid sick leave and securing paid family leave to stepping up for federal workers, this budget puts people first and lowers costs. I voted yes for a budget that includes $382.9 million for a 2% raise each fiscal year for public school teachers and staff, and ensured $148.4 million to expand support for special education!
I was especially honored to bring $1,000,000 back to the 22nd District to connect the Bristow Manor water and sewage system—ensuring our community has the reliable infrastructure it deserves. $250,000 will be also be allocated to the Department of Environmental Quality to collect data on the amount of pollution done by generators.
Virginians asked us to deliver an #affordableVirginia and we delivered! @vahousedems

While the house might not have won on the “floor” in our annual basketball game, we definitely stood up to beat cancer! So proud to cheer for my constituent and Session Aide for Delegate @karriekdelaney, @gabe.for.va. So proud of you, Gabe!
Overall, the House Delegates donated over $13500 versus the Senate’s $4800! Altogether the House and Senate, staff, lobbyists, associations, unions, corporations, and so many others raised over $78000 to STAND up to cancer! @vcu #BeatCancer
