Yesterday, I was proud to see my bill, HB 496, signed into law by Governor Spanberger. This legislation strengthens water use reporting across Virginia and brings long-overdue transparency to how water is used — including by large-scale users like data centers.
When I ran for office, I promised meaningful data center reform, and this bill delivers on that promise. Virginians deserve a clear picture of how our water is being used, especially as our communities continue to grow.

Virginia has been hit hard by federal workforce cuts. HB494 ensures that people who lost their jobs through no fault of their own have a fair shot at working in state government.
Right now, Virginia and states across the country are facing a shortage of CNAs and other health professionals. HB413 helps address this by creating a new program that allows high school students to train and earn certification as certified nurse aides.
I am proud to have passed these bills to help strengthen Virginia’s economy and support federal workers, many of whom live right here in HD-22.

Virginia’s 22nd House of Delegates District
Virginia’s 22nd District encompasses portions of Central/Western Prince William County in Northern Virginia. Following redistricting in 2023, the district includes areas such as Nokesville, Bristow, and parts of the outskirts of Manassas, and the eastern portion of Gainesville.
